On March 20, 2024, we were warmly welcomed at the headquarters of Jumbo Supermarkets in Veghel for the 4th Benelux MDM User Group meeting. Jumbo Product owner Marc van Weelden kicked things off with a presentation about Jumbo implementation and adoption of TIBCO EBX, which also included an explanation of the operation of their development team and process.
Michael Ratovo, product manager TIBCO EBX, updated everyone about the roadmap of EBX 6 and for the first time we also had a presentation from an international EBX customer, Amadeus. This organization maintains a reservation and booking platform for airlines, travel agents and hotels and has already migrated to EBX 6. Emmanuel Viguié, head of MDM Solutions, Data Integration Governance and MicroApps delivered a lively presentation that was very well received by those present.
There was a lot of interest for the breakout sessions, where Heineken discussed integration options with various Data management products and our foreign keynote speakers held a Q&A session. Systemation also delivered well-attended presentations on data modeling and EBX add-ons.
At the end, Jumbo Supermarkets provided snacks and drinks inspired by their own Hello magazine where the participants could once again exchange ideas with each other.
