Systemation was founded in 2003 by Jaap Franse. As a strategic ICT consultant, he visited countless companies and organizations since the early 1990s. Back then there was no such thing as data management. Everyone was still too busy digitizing business processes. This Business Process Management required new solutions that went further than just advice.
In order to offer customers the best solutions for their data issue, and to distinguish yourself from your competition, you must supply exclusive products in addition to innovative advice. Therefore in 2003 Jaap Frans decided to set up Systemation. Specialized in what we then called: Application Integration and Business Process Management.
The first exclusive steps
The first contract was with Cybermation, a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based developer of Workload Automation solutions. They mainly focused on the American market and were happy to have a presence in Europe.
This allowed us to communicate directly with developers and management. And we were given every opportunity to become familiar with the software and to test it extensively. This resulted in a long-term operating partner agreement that both parties benefited from. Many more would follow
People before data. Data for people.
However, software is one part of the solution. Data is not there for the data; data is there for people. So you need people with the experience to implement that software and run it successfully in an organization. People with people skills, who can put themselves in the position of the customer and the organization. And very important: who can explain in understandable language what it is about. What started with three people has now become a complete office in Utrecht, with a full team of specialists.

In two decades Systemation has grown into a leading data management company. We are the exclusive licensee for various international software vendors and have an extensive network of partners. And: an extensive list of successful projects for very satisfied customers.
Systemation is led by a team of highly experienced board members and approximately 30 driven implementation consultants, account managers and technology specialists work there.

No matter how much we have grown, one thing remains the same: our investigative entrepreneurial spirit. That is why we keep a close eye on the technology market. And we are constantly looking for new solutions and: for new partners and colleagues to fulfill our mission.
